I beleive Flash RAM (FRAM ?) does not require batteries to maintain 
data/programs, and is slower than the SRAM of my 512K POQET card. 
How does Flash Ram compare with SRAM cards otherwise ? 

On the whole, it would seem to be a better compromise than the latter .
